The Polynesian Kingdom of Atooi is a United Nations recognized indigenous sovereign nation that is part of the T-MAK polynesian nations. The Ali`i Nui (king) Aleka Aipoalani currently reigns over the Kingdom from on the west side of Kauai, which is one of the most sacred and royal areas of the Hawaiian islands. The PKOA is composed of peoples from diverse cultures whose relationships share the mission of ho’opono aina (to make right with the land).
